Another one of my projects in sixth form was 'Music', and so I decided to explore the world of album art. I love buying CDs for the artwork inside because each one is different and unique to the artist, both musical and designer. I decided to make an album cover, for no real band or artist in mind, based on the Tim Burton story of Matchstick boy with artwork based on a Goldfrapp album designed by Big Active design company. My idea was to base it around nature, and so I wanted to create a story of the seasons linking in with each other and a kind of forbidden love between summer and autumn.
This is where the jacket above comes into place. I had to create the jacket for the character of Autumn. I was so proud of this jacket at the time! It took hours to make, but I enjoyed it. Below are a few of my favourite photographs from the album design.

My first photograph to introduce the character of summer. I love how all of the colours contrast and there is that slight gap in the bushes letting the sunlight shine through on to my model.

This photograph was to show Autumn appearing to scare off summer.
This image is definitely my favourite. I used two photographs, one on top of the other, and then on Photoshop decreased the opacity of the top photograph just enough for it to blend in with the bottom photograph. The photograph is meant to represent summer fading away.
